Welcome

QuanG and QuanG2 are doctoral programmes dedicated to recruiting and training PhD students in quantum sciences and technologies, hosted in Grenoble, France.

Funded by the European Commission under the MSCA COFUND scheme, and co-financed by national programmes such as QuanTEdu-France (France 2030) and LabEx LANEF, LabEx QuantAlps (IDEX), QuanG and QuanG2 brings together a vibrant ecosystem of academic laboratories, technological platforms, and industrial partners.

Between 2022 and 2024, five PhD calls were launched, aiming to recruit talented early-stage researchers from across the world to carry out research in quantum materials, quantum computing, quantum technologies and their enabling tools.

A new PhD call is now open from 16 January 2026 to 16 March 2026. Candidates can submit their applications through the official online application platform (opening January 26th).

Before starting your submission, we recommend exploring the homepage, where you will find all the useful information and guidance to help you prepare your application and navigate the process smoothly.
