Agglomération grenobloise

We are pleased to announce the Grenoble Workshop on Nanomagnetism (GWN 2026), an international event dedicated to early-career scientists, taking place from June 23 to 26, 2026.

About the workshop

Nanomagnetism is a fast-growing field within condensed matter physics, driving major advances in spintronics, magneto-optics, and magnonics. GWN 2026 provides a dedicated forum to explore these topics, specifically designed for an international audience of PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and Master’s students.

The workshop offers a unique opportunity for early-career researchers to present their own work, exchange ideas, and build lasting scientific connections. The scientific programme will combine keynote lectures from leading experts with participant contributions, including selected oral presentations and interactive poster sessions, fostering dynamic and in-depth discussions.

Beyond the science

In addition to its scientific programme, GWN 2026 places strong emphasis on professional development and community building. Participants will have the opportunity to visit some of Grenoble’s large-scale scientific facilities, gaining first-hand insight into cutting-edge research infrastructures.

The workshop will also feature a career-focused programme, including industry perspectives and a dedicated fair aimed at connecting participants with professionals from both the public and private sectors.

To promote inclusivity and accessibility, participation is free of charge for accepted applicants.
